For those familiar with the Digital Transitions Cultural Heritage Division, you know our reputation for building the most advanced, high-quality digitization solutions available to the gallery, library, archives and museum community, as well as leading the way in sharing the latest digitization techniques, knowledge, educational programs, and expertise with our community.
We’re now proud to offer our industry leading Cultural Heritage imaging hardware to our broader photographic community, and we saw a need to provide scanning and digitization services to photographers with large archives of material as well. So as Digital Transitions continues to grow, and we look to enhance the products and services we can offer our customers, we’re now proud to announce the acquisition of DT’s new digitization service division: Pixel Acuity.
Pixel Acuity has an exceptional reputation for providing the finest quality, efficiency, and knowledge to the country’s top-tier Cultural Heritage institutions (The J. Paul Getty Museum, The Smithsonian, and The National Archives to name a few), but they also give Digital Transitions the ability to offer large-scale film, print, and art digitization services to the photographic community as well.
Pixel Acuity is committed to providing a level of service that goes beyond a client/vendor relationship, and instead becomes a partner, aligning perfectly with DT’s long-held values — that delivery of the best product and service is paramount. Our desire to provide the best experience possible to our customers remains the same.
We’re excited to be able to offer our flagship digitization products and services to our customers (all utilizing DT’s custom built equipment with Phase One sensors, of course), and look forward to helping you with your collections in the future.
